Abandoned beauty of India

Women can be said as the god's complete creation.  So we have a lot of stories about women's development in India. We make a lot of laws to save themselves but fail to maintain.  Because this is a male-oriented society. Just take an example from ancient times. We are only talking about male power but never talking about abandoned beauty. They sacrificed their life to perform her duties for husbands.
SO I  decided to about Sita, Draupadi  and Urmila as well status of today’s  Indian wives.SitaImage result for sita images of exilationAs we know whole The story of Ramayana is filled with the story of the courage of Lord Rama.  Ram left his palace to regard his father’s word of mouth that he had given to his wife Kaikeyi.  So he decided to the exile of fourteen years.
So the first trait of women sacrifice strikes us when we hear Sita’s name is that of submissiveness. But what is noteworthy is that even though Rama was adamant about going exile alone.  Sita challenged him and went to happy to serve her husband. Being a princess she never thought about her comfort and leaved palace happily. She had a glorious beauty and wealthy life….but for her to serve husband is the most important duty of a wife. So that the end of this epic drama, Ram refused to believe her chastity and asked her to take the Agni Pariksha for the second time. Sita agreed but decided to never return to Rama despite several please for him.Rama showed her injustice behavior as a husband. He had forgotten Sita’s sacrifice during forest life. She had been kidnapped by Ravan because she was living without security guards. From her childhood, she had a golden comfort life.I agree that Ram was a mighty ruler but not a good husband. He was unable to understand the feeling of a woman. He forgot every promise what had been done at the time of marriage rituals.Lastly, these incident suggests that  Sita had a mind of her own and so she did what any wise woman would have done and never returned to Rama. She spent the rest of life on Aashram with a lot of troubles and obstacles with her two sons.

DraupadiImage result for draupadiDraupadi is the most important in the Hindu epic  Mahabharat. In the game of Dice Yudhisthira put her in the bet in presence of everybody because he didn't want to lose his kingdom. Then she had been dragged in the court and planned to be naked. After starting this evil behavior she prays to Lord Krishna to save her dignity.  After a moment the amount of fabric covering her which never lessens. As we know no one has the right to put a woman on bet according to bet; not a husband, father or even the god.

UrmilaImage result for urmila ramayanaWhen Laxman was going to exile along with Ram and Sita, Urmila was ready to accompany him. But Laxman hesitated and asked her to stay back in Ayodhya to take care of his parents. The reason which was given that he will have no time for in his day and night steadfast service to his brother and that Urmila’s welfare was in staying back.  He persuaded Urmila that his welfare would be a concern in the forest and could hinder his service to serve his brother. But due to goddess Nidra Devi, Urmila slept for 14 years this saves her from the grieve of separation of husband. We read upper written three stories where sufferers are wives only due to serve their husband duty. The reason is …..male-oriented society. Where wife means only to give her a service. If not then why Ram pushed Sita for Agni Pariksha? But Sita never raised questions against Ram's character.  Why Pandavas put Draupadi on the bet? Why don’t they put their parents on the bet? Because it was easy to put wife because of male-oriented society. Why did Laxman leave Urmila to stay at the palace? Because to serve their parents and himself wanted to their bhaiya and bhabhi. But he never thought about that who will take care of Urmilas feelings? We were talking about a lot of woman development in India? We make a lot of laws to save a woman’s rights. Few examples are the following:-

The Constitution of India guarantees to all Indian women equality (Article 14), no discrimination by the State (Article 15(1)), equality of opportunity (Article 16), equal pay for equal work (Article 39(d)) and Article 42. Also, it allows special provisions to be made by the State in favor of women and children (Article 15(3)), renounces practices derogatory to the dignity of women (Article 51(A) (e)), and also allows for provisions to be made by the State for securing just and humane conditions of work and for maternity relief. (Article 42).

But still the condition is getting worse. Dowry cases are increasing, the rate of divorces is skyrocketing. Why?

Because in this is male-oriented  society. They have thought that women have to walk according to males. They don’t care about their feelings. But instead of that in 75% cases women are 100 % devoted to their husbands.  But husbands have not a single minute to ask about her problems.

If they show they are only 25% caring, the divorce rate will be surely lessened.Due to the belief system, they demand dowry. They don’t have any hesitation. In our society to demand huge dowry is shown as a social value. Goddess Durga, Laxmi, and Saraswati are worshiping everywhere. Millions are people who go to Vaishno Devi each year. But they forget to take care of the goddess who lives with him.
So what we are seeing increasing rate of high rise buildings and decreasing rates of homes.

How to stop these things?

The most important thing that we have to change the mindset? Our curriculum should be value-based. Seminars should be organized in every office which would be related culture-based. This would help to improve the social value as well as work value. Because most of the employees have low efficiency of work due to familiar pressure due to this they always find them under pressure. We have to take initiatives. Offices must organize some events where the presence of couples should be important.Lastly, I want to say that it's okay to make laws but most importantly change the mindset of this male oriented society.
