Jaipur- The Pink city of India

  Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It was built by Sawai Jai Singh in 18th century as India's first planned city. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City , due to the dominant color scheme of its building. It is also known as the Paris of India and C V Raman called it the Island of Glory . It is located 268 km from national capital of India, New Delhi.  Jaipur is a major tourist attraction amongst Indian as well as International Travellers.   Udaipur is in Southern Rajasthan, Northwestern India. It is also known as " City of Lakes".  History of Udaipur It is the historic capital of the Kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana agency. It was founded in 1559 by Udai Singh 2 of the Sisodia clan of Rajput's, when he shifted his capital from the city of Chittorgarh to Udaipur after Chittorgarh was besieged by Akbar. It remained as the capital city till 1818 when it became a British princely state, and thereafter The Mewar province became a part of Rajasthan when India gained Independence in 1947.  Udaipur (city of Sunrise) was made the capital of the princely state of Udaipur in 1568 by Maharaj Udai Singh after the sack of Chittorgarh.  Geography of Udaipur? The city is located in the southernmost part of Rajasthan, near the Gujarat border. It surrounded by Aravalli Range, which separates it from the Thar Desert. The city covers an area of 64 km2 and lies at an altitude of 598.00 m above sea level. Why is Udaip
